Holosun combines Solar Failsafe with a CR2032 battery to drive the reticle. In daylight, solar input offsets power draw so battery life improves. Meanwhile, Shake Awake ensures the optic powers instantly when moved but “sleeps” when still to conserve energy. Thanks to that setup, you get thousands of hours of runtime even under frequent use.
